Introducing The Sundance “Festimonials”

Share

Every year, we proudly support the 2,300+ Sundance Film Festival volunteers. Their enthusiasm, desire and passion for independent film creates one of the best movie-going experiences in the world, and ensure important stories reach a wider audience. Not only do we provide the official volunteer jackets, but we also create short vignettes to celebrate the volunteers and thank them for their commitment to the festival. This year, we asked the volunteers to share personal anecdotes from their Sundance experiences (what we call their “Festimonials”), and then we made our four favorites into short films.

The films were created by Kenneth Cole Productions, directed by Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg from Break Thru Films, and feature drawings and animation by Michael Arthur.

They were played before every movie shown at this year’s Sundance Film Festival on Volunteer Appreciation Day, but you can enjoy them right here.
