On July 14, 2000, a 21-year-old Delmon Dunston was practicing wrestling with one of his friends and accidentally broke his neck. From that day on Del lost the use of his legs and some of the muscles in his right hand.

Del is from Tustin, California and he's a professional wheelchair rugby player (quad rugby) with the nickname Del 10 (pronounced Del one-o).

He also spends a lot of time visiting people in hospital who have recently just lost the use of their legs, using his experiences and positive attitude to counsel them through their situation.

Del enjoys the California club scene and definitely has an eye for the ladies.
