Hallelujah, rooftop season has arrived. Here’s what you should be drinking while enjoying the view.

One of our favorite summertime activities is drinking outdoors. If you throw in a stellar view, well…hold all our calls. Lucky for us (and not for anyone who wants to get in touch with us), Mr. Purple at the Indigo Hotel in NYC’s Lower East Side has made our summer cocktailing dreams come true. On the 15th floor, with two roof decks (and a pool!), the cityscape is miraculously unobstructed, making it the jackpot spot to imbibe their expertly crafted drinks.

In fact, we’re so excited about drinking here, we reached out to Gavin Collins, a bartender at Mr. Purple, who gave us the names and ingredients of the three beverages we should be ordering from him this summer and why. So grab your sunnies, sneak out of work early, and sidle up to the bar at this downtown hotspot. You can tell Gavin we sent you.
