The Summer Style Series: Damon & Jasmine

This season’s influencers show us where they’re going, what they’re doing, and what they’re wearing to do it.

Brooklyn-based It couple Damon DeGraff and Jasmine Chess have a knack for looking cool without looking like they’re trying. Both fixtures in the music industry, DeGraff is the founder of dGi, an entertainment management company that represents some of the most sought-after DJs, recording artists, and record producers; Chess is a uniquely stylish DJ known for her genre-mixing turntable skills and her penchant for vintage fashion. Most of their weekends are spent in the Catskills, where they just built and designed their first home. We were lucky enough to follow them around for a day while they visited some of their favorite Upstate spots while wearing some of our best Kenneth Cole summer pieces.

Phonecia Diner
“Sunday brunch is a must here. We love to just kick back and eat their locally sourced foods prepped in the most diner-y way. Their chicken and waffles is everything.”

“Our home has a French “cleantique” vibe that blends both of our aesthetics perfectly.”

Milne’s At Home Antiques
“We come here often to discover the newest antique and vintage finds for both our Upstate house and our Brooklyn apartment.”

Rhino Records
“Music is clearly a huge part of our lives. Since we just moved our turntables Upstate, this record store is a total gem for both vintage vinyl and new-school tunes. We just bought a bunch of vintage reggae 45s.”

The Graham & Co.
“This has to be one of the coolest hotels Upstate right now. Only 20 rooms, it’s the perfect place to come for a laidback cocktail in front of the fire pit.”
